AKON
International icon AKON brings bold energy to VULKAN Magazine in a striking cowboy hat designed by Jimmy. Finished in a custom “Soul Red” Mazda automotive paint, the piece radiates a rich, unforgettable red that was originally envisioned as a holiday statement.
The project became an experiment in risk-taking — pushing the boundaries of material and technique — proving that even a cowboy hat can be reimagined with unexpected innovation.
"I've learned that when you take risks, you can turn a simple concept into something amazing. I mean, who knew you could use automotive paint on a hat?"

Meagan Good
Inspired by the magic and opulence of Michael Jackson’s “Remember The Time” era, we wanted to reimagine ancient Egypt through a modern, elevated lens. Grateful to collaborate with such powerful talent and turn every detail into gold. 👑✨

Crafted by hand, refined by vision — each piece is designed to awaken joy, stir creativity, and express the art of individuality.

Jimmy Garcia: Design as Transformation
Jimmy Garcia is an industrial designer whose work lives at the intersection of imagination and craft. Raised in La Barca, Jailisco near Guadalajara and educated at the Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara, he has pursued design as both discipline and art form since graduating in 2016.
From childhood, Jimmy was compelled to disassemble and reimagine the objects around him, giving them new character and life. That instinct to transform continues to shape his practice today, where abstract ideas evolve into tangible forms through a meticulous balance of creativity, technique, and precision.
Now based between Los Angeles and Las Vegas, Jimmy draws inspiration from movement, literature, and fantasy, channeling inspiration into designs that are both expressive and enduring. Each project reflects his belief that design is not only about creating beautiful objects, but also about shaping experiences that resonate deeply.
Jimmy Garcia is represented by Maison Privée of Los Angeles, California.
